hi there im planning to buy a wheels for my cl9 and just wanted to know if 18x7.5 +48 wheels are suitable on my car or the offset is high/looks?and which tyre should i go for if ever i get the wheels?any experience/pics would be great..thanks

Yes, they are suitable. Go with 235/40/R18 or 225/40/R18
I currently have 235s on mine with Volks GT-N and they are perfect

any issues when u lower it?scrapes etc.

I dont think so, may need to roll guards but they should be fine.

the one on pic is with standard height?

yep standard height, i used to have an 04 model and it was HIGH.

Refer to the low offset thread http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?119878-CL9-Low-offset-wheels for fitment info. It's all in there. In answer to your question, x7.5 +48 is very weak if you are going for a "flush" fitment, going through the offset thread will give you an idea on what some of the guys are running. Mind you at stock height any rims will looks mexican as, and when you lower it you will have natural camber.
