Steering Wheel Question

hello all

i own a integra vtir (94) my steering needs to be replaced if i get my hands on a type r steering wheel will it fit on my car without any issues (will it be a direct bolt on swap)?

also if the type r steering wheel requires a airbag would the airbag from my vtir steering wheel fit the type r steering wheel and be functional?

depends on the SRS ECU

if there the same, being the same type of car there shouldnt be any issues, but if the SRS ECU part numbers are different even though it will bolt in, you cant guarentee that it will deploy at the same rate as the VTIR.

guess the big question is whether the air bag out of my vtir steering wheel will fit the type r steering wheel? i need to find this out because the type r steering wheel is missing the airbag. thanks.

Best way to test the theory is to speed up to 100km's into a brick wall and see what happens . LOL! :D
