The majority of the cost lies in which K20 you want.

For everything swap related, have a chat to Benny @ BYP or check out the K-Tuned (www.k-tuned.com), Hybrid Racing (www.hybrid-racing.com), Karcepts (www.karcepts.com) & Rywire (www.rywire.com) websites

8k for budget or 12-15k for a good one.

Honestly wouldn't do a budget build. If your going to do it.. Spend the extra money the first time around.

A LOT!! prob minimum of 10k towards the 15k, depends if you want basic setup or a more complex setup.

Wait
are all these quote for a worked engine + the engine mounts and fitting?
Would the cost cut down alot if a stock k24 + accord gearbox was used instead?

wow expensive conversion, even after all these years! And also what about engineering cert if its gonna be a DD?

makes u wonder is it worth it or just save up and get a ep3/dc5r

not worth it unless ur a baller man! getting it engineered nd shit like mugen_ctr said. probably better off going with a b18cr. you'll most likely lose powersteering and aircon aswell.. imo, instead of spending 12-15k on a swap, put a bit more on top and buy a dc5r or ep3r as above!!

no issues in keeping ac and ps

dc5 and ep3..... 1200ish kg. vs 1000ish kg hatch

if you're a typical ozhonda lowballer and want a k, you can go with a basic setup for like 8.5k installed
would still chop those b series.

Your better off buying one with a k series in it if your not in it for the DIY/BYP

Dont most of recommended the b20 vtec for bang for buck?
IF you want a k swap, do a k swap
But when you look at the power out come of both and the price of both you might change your mind.
Sorry to be a lil off topic

a basic b20vtec is bang for buck. 120kw. not comparable with k series.

a built b20 is not bang for buck. 135-160. comparable with a k series.

might as well go k. oem reliability with a fukload of potential.

At the moment , You can only use k24a3 motor and gearbox on EG or DC2 chasis.
We are Hasport official AU Dealer , We can supply Hasport mounts to suit that application
