So it's a reused question but having trouble finding specifics and looking for opinions on people who have used theses exhausts.

I am tossing up between a custom 2.25" mendrel bent ss cat back with a WS2 muffler, a full apexi ws2 cb, or a buddy club pro spec CB. It's going on an ej8 with a b18cr, leaning towards the custom system as I am wanting ss and quite? Any one wanna throw their 2 cents in?

I have had the buddyclub pro spec and it is fairly loud but nothing ridiculous, very light too. Can't say I have tried the Apexi system but it looks good and sounds good on youtube lol

Size wise go 2.5inch best performance. I have a b16a and my setup is a mandrel bent 2.25inch system with 2 hot dogs metal cat and xforce twinloop thats pretty quiet considering its mild steel.

I was under the impression mild steel is quieter than stainless. More of a low pitch, stainless more of a rasp.

60mm for b18cr. 2.25 is oem size.

the ws2 sounds awsome, the only downside ive heard is that if you scrape the catback and graze the black coating, they tend to rust easily. but if your car isnt that low, that shouldnt be an issue.

other than that, look into the tanabe medalion touring. it has an oval style muffler like the ws2 if you prefer that look, and sounds absolutely amazing. i think they come in a 2.36" which is pretty decent. my mate has it on his ej8 b18cr. its nice and quite but opens up with a nice deep note in vtec.

good luck man.

u mad?

ah get the buddyclub.
yeah people say piping is piping. but eh.
i had buddyclub in my dc2r.. wasnt overally loud, others hated it but i didnt.
if your going custom, go to a custom shop..
i prefer the branded parts....tested etc.
