Does anyone know what colour the Remote and Battery wire is in the Accord Euro CU2 factory amp located in the boot? The factory amp has 2 connectors, one seems to be the input going into the amp (the one with less wires) and the other seems be the output going out to the speakers. I want to tap into these wires to run an amp. Would I damage the audio system by tapping into the factory amp wiring? From looking at the wiring diagrams and photos in other threads, I think black is Ground, yellow is Battery and Remote could be light blue

Where else I can find the easiest remote wire point?

For the moment, I want to connect an Alpine amp to run a 10" Alpine Sub and leave the factory amp to run the rest of the speakers. I have replaced the factory sub with the Alpine 10” sub in its place and will be using the subwoofer wires coming off the factory amp. I'm hoping that the Alpine amp will clean up the bass a little with the help of the LP/HP filter. I’m a newbie and want to keep things really simple at moment and see how it turns out.

As an assumption, I would say the plug with more wires is the input. (power, ground, speakers, remote) and the output would just be speakers (speaker wiring and nothing else)
Remote in most aftermarket cases is blue or blue with a white stripe, so that could be a good starter. and power would be red, or yellow depending. Should also be thicker than the rest as well. But I would say you'd be better off just running aftermarket power wiring to the new amp, save tapping into the other amp and leaving your new one with little power (i'm assuming the factory amp has smaller power wires than most people would run in their aftermarket system)
And yeah, the remote shouldn't be too hard, get one of those screw driver light things (A light with a metal rod out the bottom, with a ground clip at another end.. vaguely) Clip the clip to the bodywork (somewhere where the paint is ground back, to show bare metal) and poke the metal bit into a terminal of the amp (when h/u is on) find blue, try that, turn h/u off, see if it's still on. if not, tada. If it is still on, look around some more. ezpz

hope that helps

Here's a couple pictures of the wires located in the factory amp and wiring diagrams.
