thanks kay,

My dad reckons that the Window visors damages the rubber seal. Can anyone confirm/deny this?

Mr.DC2

Doesn't touch the seals at all just uses double sided tape and sticks to the chrome trim

get the real mugen visors, had my installed last week :)

The worst it could do is the 3m double side tape would get stuck onto the trim but you could always remove it with some kerosene.

Does the mugen visors have 3m tape and clips? I remeber seeing small black circles on the visors from memory?

Yer they have clips that go in the seal. They did no damage to my seals at all

just wait for some used sets, i got mine for 90$ genuine, the guy said it was scratched and battered up so i went and had a look at it anyway, bought it came home used a bit of plastic polish came out just fine. Just had to get some new 3m tape.

Get the fake mugen ones off ebay (the ones Kay_Lee posted). I got them and I am very happy with them. The quality is really good for that price and they look exactly like the mugen ones so I would definitely recommend them.

Yeah but they ugly IMO, I would go for replica mugens even if they were the same price.

There is one called VHB (very hard bond), this is crazy stuff, the strongest double sided tape on the market. But then again the visors are not that heavy so maybe its too strong for them :)

If you buy brand new oem visors from the Honda dealer the visor will already have the 3m tape on them

They don't say mugen plastic is a bit cheaper and i think the tinting isn't as good

You could always just buy some nightshades and respray the visors to make it darker if you aint satisfied.
