My dizzy just died so I bought a reconditioned one, now I know the proper procedure to install is fairly easy but me the genius when I removed the spark plugs from my broken dizzy I didn't take note in which order, so it could be anything.
Is it still safe to install the new dizzy? Or is it best I call an auto electrician to do it incase there's some misfiring

have a look at some pics of b series motors, you should be able to figure which one goes where.

1) set the engine to TDC for Cyl #1
2) install the dizzy with out the cap
3) see where the rotor button is pointing corespondidng the cap, that will be cyl 1, so place lead #1 on the cap at this location
4) the rest will be Cyl 3 Cyl 4 Cyl 2 in a clockwise rotation when looking at the cap ( remember engine rotates anti clockwise )
5) warm up engine
6) bridge SCS
7) adjust Timing
