Hey Mate,

I have 17s on my car with 40 series low profiles. I have pedders springs and they are lowered by 2inch and the wheel arch are sitting just above the tyre.
I have attached a picture of my car for you to see.

But I wouldn't want to lower it any more. Anymore the wheels would be rubbing the guards when your turning.

if your in sydney, goto all springs in moorebank, point to where you want the wheel arch to sit and they will custom make the spring to exactly where you point it to...

cost ya about $250 for all for springs, gareenteed/warrenty

id go lower then 2" in my view, but up to you dude!

I was told that the springs on my car are pedders and its been lowered 2inch. When I get a chance tomorrow or so I will take one of the wheels off and I would be able to tell you exactly what they are. As a saw a little tage on the suspension. But im pretty sure they are pedders springs.

Yeah, I got super lows about 2 weeks ago and you can't even tell my car is lowered. Same with my friends wrx who had his in for about 2 months now. I am hoping it will settle with the weight of the car eventually but doesn't look like it will. :( Damn waste of money!! Grr!

I used H&R shocks and Spring on my civic when i had it...
I had 205/40/17's on it...never had a promblem.
It was done at Online Performance in Sydeny.

Ive got 205/40/17 on mine and Ive droped it 3", I wouldnt recommend this, coz ontop of the springs u have to get a camber kit and camber the rear wheels, and the front scrubs alittle at full lock.:( But it looks awsome.

Kandy,

I like those lights you have on your car. Can you take some pictures of it at night as I would like to see what they look like at night.

bonezee... when i had my eg hatch the super lows on it made it look really low. now on my em1 they dont look as low. i think it all depends on the car. in regards to the rex kandy was talking about (btw...kandy and i are frends), my other mates my03 has super lows and they look much MUCH lower than this frends my01.

either way i'd go as low as possible. the lower the better! :)
