Anybody know of a good build of a 1977 civic which has eg civic front seats in it?
Checked 1stgencivic.com and it says it's possible, but dodgey...
Just curious if anybody knows of one that has been pulled off well and isn't overly dodgey?

I'm only considering these seats cause I have one passenger side seat in good condition, and thought it'd be cheaper to buy just a driver side then to buy both of a 91 crx/ civic...

Cheers

if rails dont fit, you could get custom made rails

That is true...
Where would I go to get them made up? A body works person? General welder kinda person? Not really sure what kinda place I should go to for custom rails :s

Provided you have measurements of distances between mounting holes & width between lh & rh side of the rails, or even better yet, a 1st gen original seat rail, a fabricator should be able to knock up some custom ones for you

shouldn't be too hard to get another first gen seat rail (spare one)
Might have a look around for a fabricator then. cheers
