Hi guys,
Searched and searched and really couldn't find a instructional post about safety removing the center piece of the dash board of a dc5 in order to install an after market head unit. So if anyone who knows how to remove the centre piece , please help me out. fyi, i heard that it is just all clips and it should come off fairly easy. Would want some clarification. Thanks in advance . Pictures would be awesome also!!

Ontop of the gearnob theres a plastic screw take that off inside that there is a screw loosen the screw take it off and push the metal brace forward and itll unclip if struggling after u loosen the screw put 2 flatheads on each side of the headunit bracket and pull toward you this will unclip the fascia and bobs your uncle.

It was a **** to get out but eventually got there, thanks for the advice. Any one else looking to do this install, its pretty simple once you know what youre removing. Just remove that plastic piece above the cup holders and then remove 2 screws which is located at the back ish.
