Guys i've just picked up an 00 Em1 and am looking to change the engine mounts on the b16a2. Just wanted to check if these would fit or not?

Ebay Link (http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/INNOVATIVE-MOUNTS-96-00-CIVIC-MOUNT-KIT-10050-/250793478519?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item3a6474c977)

Dude,

i'd double check that listing looks sus to me.

The title says 96-00 civic ...where if u read the description it states"

YEARS MAKE MODEL NOTES
1988-1991 Honda Civic/CRX

the fckin title and description dont match...even the pics of the engine mounts dont look like B-series.

this one here is the correct mounts almost the same price too.

The mounts pictured are the right ones for an EK/EM1.

B-series, D-series EK mounts are the same.

Thats the design of the steel innovative mounts, doesnt need to be thick when using steel, The mounts you linked are made from aluminum hence the need to be thicker.

Id prefer to get hasport mounts, The shop in the link is an authorised dealer.

I guess so..

Id still get the billet allum mounts rather than ugly steel look.

+1 for hasports mounts. Abit pricey but hey.

U could also try blox, Avid, other un known allum made billet mounts.

Yeh definately prefer billet mounts, ive got some hasports(62A) on my car and they look nice and do their job well.

The hasports arnt too much more when you factor in postage,
Ur link = 358.92 AU inc postage
Hasport = 376.68 AU inc postage

For less than $20 extra id definately go hasports.

Hardrace also make some oem type replacement mounts. IIRC they are meant to be softer and give you less vibrations, more like stiffened oem mounts rather than solid urethane.

Its to do with the passenger side engine bracket, some came with 2 bolts some came with 3 depending on model etc, if you look at you passenger side mount you will be able to see if your has 2 or 3 bolts, should be 2 IIRC but better to check as you only have to lift the bonnet so not hard to check.

Heres a pic of mine before i changed to hasports, ive pointed out the bolts, they are the ones closest to the engine, mine is a 2 bolt as you can see, if yours is the same then its 2 bolt.

It's not dependent on model. All EK came with 2 bolt.

Reason they offer 3 bolt is if you have a B18C swap.
