Hey guy's,

I have been searching for a full system for my DC2R, I have found that x-force does the twinloop muffler system along with 4-2-1 headers. They are a cheap alternative compare to the mugen system!

Main question is, is the quality up to standards? Please let me know before i spend my hard earned cash! Thanks guys!

Xforce is bang for buck. With exhausts it's definetely a case of "you get what you pay for". Some people have reported that their mufflers sound different after a period of time, that it sounds tinnier or more farty.

Mugen twinloop 2nd hand will still be cheaper than a brand new xforce system?

They're decent.

Best options IMO are Tanabe, Mugen, Kakimoto, Fujitsubo etc

Whats your budget?

I have been hearing a lot of different opinions.. My budget is around $1400 no more then $1600.. I'm interested in the twinloop design just because its quieter and don't want attention from the boys in the blue!

4-2-1 header, hi flow cat and custom 2.25/2.5" piping (with 2 bigass resonators) to a mugen twinloop muffler? Definetely under $1400 and will sound MAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAD but also quiet

I got my whole XForce system for just over $1000. great bang for buck, gonna be changing the headers and cat to suit my next setup but the twinloop catback is great!

if you get the twinloop get the mugen style one, the oval one I have heard people complain about the sound changing after a while. NO IDEA what the internal difference is but my barrel/mugen type has not changed since I bought it.

+300 for labour ..

unless you gunna fit it yourself...

i originally had X-FORCE CAT/B-pipe to Twin loops...and i must say ...its pretty good for its price..

quite and tucked in nicely.

my headers DC-SPORTs SS 4-1 ...so it worked well with the overall experience.

I bought a xforce twin loop muffler for my b18c civic to go with the rest of my 2.5" exhaust. At Low rpm and idle it sounded and i quote 'like a youtube civic', it was awesome! But when i hit VTEC it was the fartiest, tinniest and loudest muffler i had ever heard...i hated it. So i went back to a lukey turbo muffler and was much better.

My exhaust set up was 4-1 headers, 2.5" piping, 2x12" resonators. But a full xforce system may sound different. As said in previous posts it deff go a japanese brand...

This is what my twin loop looked ike:

As trism once said, it's a 'gayloop'. Mugen makes a good 'twinloop' though.

Finally got around to installing the system.. Defiantly bang for buck! The twinloop has a nice note to it and isn't extremely loud.

Very happy with the purchase.

Just went with the 4-2-1 xforce ones aswell.. Couldn't justify spending $3500 for mugen system! But i guess there's more R&D in them but hey im not chasing every little KW.

JDM DC2R OEM header, or aftermarket?

Short answer, probably better than your OEM header. Debatable whether or not it's the most ideal header for daily driving. Probably not as a 4-2-1 header utilises low-end revs more than 4-1 which is top-end.

its oem jdm 4-1, ahhk truee, Theres one for sale now with a 2.5" cat welded on, you reckon it will go good in my b18c2 with my magnaflow exhaust? just wanna know you opinion

How big is your magnaflow?

Like I said yes it'd probably be a decent upgrade. How you go with fitment I'm not sure but an exhaust shop would probably have to fit it for you.

I don't like 4-1 configurations for daily driving because you need your low-mid range power more than your top-end power, and the 4-1 header ground clearance is generally lower than with a 4-2-1. I recommend 4-1 for track, 4-2-1 for street.

Unless it is the RMF 4-1...combination of 4-2-1 and 4-1. The midrange gains i got from that was unbeliveable...and here is a pic of my ground clearance:
