Anyone know or recommend a brand for Ventilated Visor/Windshield? I was looking at the Mugen one but it's a bit expensive for what it is?

Anyone have them or the OEM installed? Pics? Verdict?

Cheers.

I have the OEM installed - they are just applied with double sided tape on top of the chrome window lining. Make sure if you go this path they are installed properly by the dealers (or whoever). I had to get mine reinstalled since they became flappy and fell off during a highway drive :(

Functionally excellent just to open a bit of windows for some air - if you use it to defog windows not worth it, better to go with the air con. Not sure how it affects drag etc. If you use air con alot I wouldn't even bother getting them. During the hotter weather days, leaving a bit open for air does help reduce the cabin temperature a bit (along with tinted windows and the windscreen reflector) compared to having them up.

As for appearance (I didn't buy it for that) I would say getting it or not it wouldn't degrade the car's appearance.

You can get cheap ebay ones for ~$100 if I remember correctly. Got my visors included when I bought my car.

Don't have any pictures of it but if you just go to Honda's site you'll see them.

Do you still have the ebay link?
If you don't mind, can you please post more pics of the visor?
I want to know how the front and rear visor meet between the two doors. I don't like gaps... :p

Thank you in advance.

How much did you buy the visor from Spare parts for?
I found a set here http://www.heeltoeauto.com/honda-access-window-visors-09-acura-tsx-cu2.html

I bought a set from the ebay link that I posted on the first page for $85..
Arrived over the weekend so pretty happy with the timing.
The box says honda spirior so I assume it's coming from china.
I find a lot of fine vertical scratches on all four visor from the visors moving inside the box but it will get scratches from normal washing anyway..
The fitment is fine, I can still see minor gap between the front and rear but it does the job.

Thanks mate.
I'm still in love with this Graphite Luster colour, not as hard to maintain as black but dark enough to look "tough"..
I have promised to myself not to spend any money since I got the $7000 extra lux model but sometimes you just cannot help it...
I keep finding myself browsing for 20" wheels and bodykit at work......... :p

Noob Q, what do they do?

Pitek, how are they with the sunroof down and windows open?

In summer they are good when you park under the sun. It allows you to open the windows a little bit to let the hot air out but it will not attract nasty thief and also when it rains all the sudden, you will not get water inside the car.
In winter/rain you can reduce the use of aircon while driving on motorway without getting buffeted air/water inside the car.

It's a must mod for me since I used to have it on my FD for 6 years.

Genuine ones from Honda have clips to lock it in more securely than the Ebay ones that are stick on only

Mine came with clamps and half the price of the oem..
Winning.. :)

Saying that, my ebay oem replica visor and mugen replica FD visor last me 3+3 years without any drama, that's with motorway speed driving most of the time..
They were both just attached with 3M tape.

My OEMs from Honda didn't come with clips ??? They are stuck on with tape only :|

I think the JDM ones are the ones with the clips and they clip on underneath the chrome where as our OEMs are stuck over the chrome

I had a look into that prior to purchasing the one that I got.
The one that you mentioned slip between window and door frame is made by weathertech.. $99 plus $65 freight from the US..
