Looking to buy a DC2 interstate

Hi guys i found a yellow jdm front dc2 on carsales and i wanted to get your opinion on whether its worth travelling 1000km to collect it or not. The car is registered in VIC and he now lives in NSW. I am currently living in VIC.

Been on sale for a while. that's a crazy price for a jdm front dc2 and if nothing was wrong with it should have sold fast. If you know someone in sydney get them to have a look at the car and have it tested before you commit to buying?

You don't want to bring it home and have to spend heaps to get a rwc...

Sounds like an awesome deal lol. DC2 for $6,000 is a good price, not to mention a JDM front. Get a RACV check for it, wait for the report, then buy it if they're happy.

^I dunno about that RACV check bro... $200+ they barely did anything in 40 minutes when inspecting my dc4 lol then the guy went and flogged it up the street and back. Said "all good" and left me with an envelope

Its a scam my mate told me and this has been up for sale for ages, why would he post his located in springvale,vic on carsales when the car is in sydne? i think this is the guy who trolls firesport posting fake ads.
Clearly hes trying to target interstate buyers as he would easyly sell it localy.

Also it's got an EG steering wheel? and dc2r cluster so wouldn't know what the real kms are. its most likely not 164xxx as the seller states. And c2 is black rocker cover not red?

Too much shit doesn't make sense on this car, wouldn't touch it.

this sale ad seems too good to be true so its probably is, you would be spending alot of money getting it to rwc standed anyway so u werent have it on ur name.
But it u wanna make the trip to sydney for it its your choice.
I have a stock vti-r integra with new reg and rwc and im in melbournes west if ur intrested

Yeah true, i dunno i might get a friend to check it out for me since his in Sydney. In the meantime like it couldn't be much of a scam in a way since like his ad is also on carsales and posting an ad is like $60+ (correct me if i'm wrong), and like somebody whos got money lying around and the time to fool people would actually do it which i doubt he does. But yeah i'm reconsidering it at the moment lol
