Ok guys, For some reason my drive axles are a pain to get into the transmission, dont seem to want to go in just by pushing. So are there any tips to get them in?

keep it straight and use more muscles to push it in.

As stated keep the shaft straight and by using the hub end as a hammer so to speak, knock the inner joint with the center section a few times until it pops in if that makes sense

keep it straight and lightly tap the cap with hammer while pushing joint in. DONT GIVE UP, it will go in eventually

+1 Tap with a hammer.
They have a small clip on the gearbox end which takes a bit of force to snap in.

if hammering use a soft hammer as you could mushroom the thread then waste hours filing the threads to fit the hub nuts properly... (mistake i made lol)

your tapping the CV cup on the gearbox end, how can you mushroom the threads?

use a bit of vaseline on the circlip to keep it central, keep the driveshaft straight and push it in

Got one in, Two of us pushing it in, and tapping it with the hammer on the end. (Did it with the nut on so thread wasn't damaged). I didnt hear a click or anything, But when trying to pull it out by hand it wasn't coming out. So I think it is in, will take a photo of the axle in the transmission when both sides are done and get a confirmation, cause Its one thing I dont want flying out.

Now the other side is shorter, but without thinking we just thought we would do it later (yesterday this was) so we put that side all back together, so the wheel end of the axle is in the hub and everything is torqued and so on. Do you think it will still be possible to clip the axle into the transmission (cant get it straight or hammer on the end). I can tap the CV cup as xcluive said, but I dont see anywhere there to tap as it turns into boot. So I loose the hammering surface.

If connected to the hub...

Place the driveshaft cup into the diff housing , straighten the driveshaft - grab the hub at your chest level and give a couple of pushes in * WHUMP WHUMP* and it should easily clunk into place.
