EP3 immobiliser issues?

hey everyone,

my EP3 has been acting strange recently, where the car is being driven at low speeds (20-40km) then the car is just completely dying.

if i try to start up again it will just wont tick over..

have to click the immobiliser remote a couple of times, then it lets me start up again.

anyone had this issue before, and If so.. can offer any sort of advice on it.

Do you have a aftermarket alarm?

That's the problem mate. My auto watch alarm was killing my engine at 60kms while I was nex to trucks... Of turning corners. Lol. I just replaced my alarm and disabled my factory immobilizer


Your car doesn't start up sometimes aye?

Factory Pre-face lift EP3 doesnt come factory immobilizer though.

=S my bad! Then its just the alarm I guess!!! I got mine done at Fairfield car radio. They said something along he lines of that! I had an autowatch too. I just changed it and the car never turned off while in motion again!

yeah it just doesnt tick over, i have to engage the immobilizer a few times, then it starts straight away lol
