Question about painting rocker cover

Hi all, this might be a simple question but...

I wanna paint the rocker cover on my 94 Integra.
Obviously I have to remove the rocker cover to do so.

My question is this: Do I need a new gasket/gasket-kit to fit it back on, or will it just fit right back where it came from with no dramas?

My mate's SR20DET r/c came off and straight back on, but I had a feeling it wasn't that simple...

my valve cover has been off many a time and the gasket has been fine to use again. should be ok unless its cracked/split. rubber isnt it??
