Hey all,

A few omnths ago I bought a '92 Accord and a recent conversation with my insurance company regarding the allowed modifications has left contemplating my options...

I guess the most significant (and probably most expensive...) exterior mod I would like to do would be to kit it. (front + rear bumpers, side skirts, no spoiler!)

Can anyone suggest body kit manufacturers (around Melbourne preferably) who have or can import kits for a '92 Accord? Also, any idea on what price range I'll be looking at?

Cheers!

Hey man,

I've got a 92 Accord eXi and I've been doing the same as you.

The best kits ive seen are from Ground Designs (http://www.grounddesigns2000.com

Check out the Black Widow and Black Widow II kits for the 4th Gen Accords.

Theyve recently got an Australian distributor (he's in Queensland) and he quoted me about 2 grand for the complete kit then you'll probably be looking at another grand or so to respray it.

Hope that helps.

Importing it is the best bet cause it's mostly the American manufacturers that make the best kits (in my opinion anyway)

Also check out: http://www.accordracing.com/photogallery/1990-1993/index.html. On that site, it's got pics of all the different kits you can get for the 4th gens.

Thanks heaps man. Yeah, the overseas kits are pretty awesome, but I'm a bit worried about the exchange rate and shipping fees. I'm more inclined to import from Canada, if anything though, found this site:

Oh well, I guess I'd better start saving!
