B18 and D16 stock airbox interchangeable?

say in an EK with JDM b18c, what stock airbox can be used? just need it to pass RWC.

are D/B or b16/b18 airbox interchangeable? will a b18b VTiR stock airbox direct fit in an EK chassis with the JDM b18c?

try your stock ek airbox with your b series pipe if it should fit by the look of it, who cares if its bit dodgy because its only temporary anyway

Stock Ek4/EK9 intake arm will not line up the B18C VtiR engine or JDM SiR engine as the Intake Manifold lines up differently.

He will need a stock airbox from the VtiR engine if that is what he has.

car is an ek1 originally with D16. the car now has JDM b18c with whale penis on and i need to get a rwc.

hmm saw a dc2r stock airbox in the for sale section, will this bolt on to ek chassis?

i have done it to my civic h22, i was using d series intake box and h22 intake arm (it still fit even though h22 intake arm not line up to my d series air box)

You can use the stock DC2R airbox and intake arm if that is the case.

Dont was time with the stock EK box as the DC2R has a bigger intake arm and pod inside for better airflox.

You jsut need to DIY a bit to get the box sitting still.
