they reckon it might be the fastest jazz in the world but we all know our boy rotel puts out a bit more power then the 184kw Honda claims for this new Jazz G2

also anyone know what the "G2" means? is it just 2nd generation? because lots of ppl dunno a GD from a GE so Honda just call it the G2??

still looks mean!!

I think those Jazzes won't run in the WRC but rather in the ARC (Australian) as far as latest news go.

G2 is the category/group they are entering in.

Now when is Honda going to get back to making proper sports cars for the road ?

They have the new NSX concept though... and that is the problem... it is still a concept.

sorry thats what i meant. i keep thinking wrc even tho i just mean rally in general :P
habbit i suppose.

Honda isnt making those expensive cars anymore, all of their sports cars lately have been designed to target ppl who want the thrill of a supercar but without the price.
so they will most likely be sticking to bringing out more fwd sport hatches like the civic type R

mhmm sounds amazingly tuned.

not sure abt the awd layout but i hope they did. otherwise it might not be competative enough for some of the other cars in that class.

ARC G2 is 2 wheel drive only, front or rear. If the entry car is originally 4wd/awd, i must be converted to either front or rear wheel drive only. Ü

Looks Front wheel drive in the clip. Smoke from front tyres on acceleration, rear smoke on handbrake turns.

yeah....

mmm still think mine'd have to be the most powerfull "stock" engine'd jazz out there... mine's making 165kw @ 6000RPM, (redline's set low), but making 303nm torque, and she's been built to rev to 7000rpm, AND run 16psi.

We recon 260-280BHP, so that's about 190 - 210kw @16psi.

I Think you'll find that G2 is 2wheel drive and 2L ATMO. Acutally... i looked it up, it's AKA Group B, (from what i can gather), sooo yeah, 2-2.5L 2wheel drive. in rally, if it's turbod you have to run a 35mm intake restrictor, so TECHNIALLY you can make more power out of an atmo, but the turbo car will always make more torque.

It wouldn't be too hard to make the jazz into a track car, but i'm sure they've had their work cut out for them making the suspenstion work for a rally car. having worked on the suspenstion on my "racing jazz" i know how tight it is in there. i wonder what they did with the rear suspension? the trailing arm system wont cut it... maybe some of that R&D will filter into mainstream mods.

K20 in that would be a no-brainer really, they've been doing that for years, (Mugen FIT Dynamite S1).

when i get finacial enough to by new car and pull jazz off the road, going to strip and make it into a track car...
