yeah, then you must diagnose the problem.

you know what car you have, search for the correct service manual, then refer to the diagnosticof the abs system.

I have never dealt with a problem abs before, just telling you how i would deal with the situation if it ever occured to me.

If you're not mechanically competant, take it to someone who is.

not much else to say really, because it could be anything, abs sensors, abs motor, even a fuse.

good luck.

Not having ABS working can go 2 ways really.... One primary reason why we must have abs working is purely for insurance purpose, imagine rocking up to a insurance assessor and they tell u to f off because ur abs was faulty and than u cant claim shit...... having the abs light on is also an automatic fail if ur also getting a rwc...

few things may have gone bad, go through the service manual and should give u an indication and how to trouble shoot it.... kinda hard to diagnose a problem like this online, best bet is to either go to mech as suggested above or diy trouble shoot, and find the diagnostic trouble codes

In my case, the abs sensor decided to disintegrate when i pulled the hub off to have the bearing replaced.... as far as braking operations go, it still feels relative normal.... just be more weary when braking hard is my advice till u find the problem

happy hunting :D

check for Abs error codes, the same plug you use to retrieve Engine check lights. The plug(blue color plug) has two wires black and brown, it is under the dashboard on the left side of the fuse box, or under the glovebox beside the ecu.
try this Diy (http://www.ozhonda.com/forum/showthread.php?67113-DIY-PGMFI-Diagnostics-Codes). count the flashing light

This is how to reset ABS
If your ABS light is on and you need to clear wheel sensor codes, follow these steps:
1. Put a paperclip in the SCS connector (like you do to read the code)
2. Hold brake pedal
3. Turn key to position II
4. When ABS light goes out, release pedal
5. When ABS light comes back on press brake pedal again
6. When ABS light goes out, release pedal once more
After a couple of seconds the light should blink twice, at that point turn key OFF and wait 10 seconds. Your codes are reset.
