Small leak directly under car =( (DC5R)

I've just noticed a leak under my DC5R, it appears to be water. It's just a drip that stops after awhile, first thought is it may be the air con.

but wanted to know if anyone else may of experienced this.

I got a quick iphone night snap of the leak.

i will be taking it to the mechanics for a service this weekend, anyone got any thoughts of what it may be?

lol if its just water man and your air con was on then its sweet...the condensation has formed into liquid and has leaked out the ac drain tube. hope that helps

yea bra its normal,thats y you got the drain tube :)

Taste it lol. Coolant has a kinda sweet taste (don't swallow it etc, just touch your finger to your lip then spit it out).

Watch your coolant level and see if it still leaks after not using A/C one day.


And if you can get underneath and see where it's coming from that'd be a bonus.

Try coming home one day with your aircon off, then having a look.
If no leak then there's nothing wrong at all but others have said, most likely left over water from the air con buddy.

If there's a leak present on a day you return home when you haven't used the air con then there would be a minor problem.

blown headgasket mate, thats coolant leaking from the headgasket. Time to sell the car........

Don't need to lick. Coolant has a distinct smell and is blue/green.
