My EK1 Sedan.

I am a newbie to this forum and also to the world of Honda. I moved back to Sydney after completing high school in Fiji (my birth place) and started Uni. I spent the whole of last six months trying to look for a suitable ride for myself on a very tight budget. :eek:

During the holidays, I had a good mate of mine visit Sydney from Vegas, USA. He completely talked me into Honda's, everything about them and how they would be a good choice as a car.

Anywhoo, long story short - I stumbled across this MINT AS 1996 EK1 Civic Sedan and after a test drive - I was hooked and the car was parked home the next day.

Although being a granny spec Gli, she does have a few subtle mods done to it, which many people cant pick out but gives the car a unique look. Im very fond of it and hope to continue down this path for future mods :)

Cheers mate. This is my first car in Sydney, but I used to own a VZ Calais in Fiji. I am not sure about this being an ozhonda members car, although its obvious why it would be! Kudos to the ex-owner :)

Thanks to you all who have given such kind words. Just a recent update, I have had the car serviced, oil, filters, pads, plugs and she is prowling very smoothly. Really enjoying driving this car.

Yes, I am looking into what mods I can do. I have read that the ebay headlights do not come with parkers. Is that true? Are they safe and durable? I dont have a problem buying it from the U.S as I have my mate over there who can send it over.

Well spotted buddy! Yes it is a car park dent that was there when I bought the car. With me being very busy, I havent had time to go and get it repaired. Its only a minor dent. Most people havent noticed it!

Hey guys, its been a while since I jumped on this forum. Thought I'd give an update. Since my last post, I decided to keep the civic and instead went out and bought myself a R33 GTS-t
I now have these two babies for myself and use the skyline as a weekend car and the civic for daily. Im 20yrs old and it was a goal to get a skyline before turning 21.

I havent done any mods to the civic. I have had it for almost 2 years now. It gets serviced religiously and only with premium oils and parts as with my other cars. Hasnt missed a beat!
