Honda MDX Import to Europe

I recently moved from the US to Germany and took my 2004 Acura MDX along. It turns out the headlights don't conform to European standards. Are the headlights of the Honda MDX sold back in 2004 the same as in the US or is there a chance that they had to be adapted for Australian standards and therefore my also conform to European standards?

A related question: Are there maybe headlights from different Hondas that might fit?

The question is - why bother bringing an 8-year-old Honda over to Germany? It's not as if it's worth that much?
