Hey Guys,
What sort of prevention methods do you use to prevent your number plates getting stolen?
anti theft screws?
special frames that are difficult to undo?
anyone got recommendations?

There a piece of shit.
You can use a big flat head screw drive to unscrew them...
Very easily too.
Wanna be extremely Anal... Pot rivet the plates.

U cat put a flat head in a torx head screw?? This is the star bolt i was talkin about.

I can still manage to open them with a screwdriver, but if it is done up really tight dont think you will be able to.

Use a normal phillips head screw with washer and once tight drill the + out and when and if you ever need to remove cut the screw head off.
Simple and effective

I reckon just weld the plates to the chassis.

Use a normal phillips head screw with washer and once tight drill the + out and when and if you ever need to remove cut the screw head off.
Simple and effective
this is best idea in thread i reckon.

Number plates attach to the bumper bars. Bumper bars are made out of plastic. YOU CANNOT ****ING WELD METAL TO PLASTIC!!!
And if you weld it to the chassis, itll be hidden behind the bumper bars, defeating the ENTIRE ****ING PURPOSE OF A NUMBER PLATE

I second this as the best and simplest idea. Only proviso is that you use low dome screws rather than the OEM ones 'cause you can grip the sides of those with vise grips (have had to do this on ones where the + is stuffed.
