Hi All,

I have just brought a 2006 Accord Euro Lux. It didn't have the rain sensor when I got it, guessing they just never put it back when replacing the windscreen? Anyway, I've brought one and am after some advice on how/where to fit it? Does it stick straight to the glass? Is there something meant to go between the glass and the sensor?

Where the sensor should be mounted, behind the mirror, there are all these little black round dots? Do I just stick it to that?

Cheers,

Nick.

Normal windscreen is 265 for euro
Automatic wiper screen is 550+ dollars so if someone replaced your windscreen, chances are u no longer have auto wipers.

Thanks guys. Looking at the sensor from outside, are the black dots there? or is the glass clear?

If u have the sensor it will be inside exactly like the picture 3rota posted. No box- no rain sensing wipers.

I brought a rain sensor as it had been taken out. I have little black dots where it's meant to sit. The screen is not oem. I just wanted to know if the sensor would work through the dots? Are they between the sensor and glass on an oem screen?

Oh sorry mate I misread your initial post. I'll check tomoz morning but I'm pretty sure the space is blank and dot free, I think dots would effect the sensor IMO but not a honda tech haha. Anyway I'll check first thing in the morning mate
