I don't think you can fit the ASR Subframe brace on a DC2R. Regardless JDM or not

Don't think you need it anyway given the dc2r has a re-enforced oem subframe.

Show us some pictures of your ASR brace, the bolts and the box.

Doesn't the Dc2r have a slightly different rearsubframe compared to eg / dc2.

The point of a ASR brace , is to emulate a dc2r subframe lol

Putting a ASR onto a dc2R is pointless , as it already runs the reinforced subframe and larger 22 or 23mm swaybar !

ASR BRACE WILL NOT FIT DC2R SUBFRAME.

It is different to the normal DC2 Vti-R / DC4 ,EG / Del Sol chasis subframe

DC2R subframe is specially designed to suit the larger sway bar and is more stiffer than the other models.

ASR brace is designed to stiffen the subframe on these lower models to accomodate the dc2r sway bar or any over larger aftermarket sway bar.

you definitely don't need the asr brace on a dc2r chassis as it is already reinforced from the factory to accommodate a larger sway bar

the factory tie bar in my car is missing, and i need to replace it, pretty sure its just a blingy item that replicates what the factory one does?

Just leave it IMO man. OEM subframe and sway bar should be fine.

You tracking the car?

it links to the lower control arms either side....but due to the design and (lack of) thickness or strength of the metal it would flex when load is applied. I had a CARBING rear tie bar - and a old civic chassis , it DID something lol

This one will work the best as it is a full solid welded bar opposed to beaks which is held by 2 flimsy brackets that can be bent with a screw driver
