Hey guys, recently ive noticed a sound thats become very anoyying to deal with.
it seems to be a screw or something thats rolling around when i turn right or left.
Anyone had this problem before. I removed my entire trunk lining and looked where the spare wheel area is located and still cant find it.

The sound seems to be metal on metal sound.

Thanks

prob a screw or plastic clip fell off and it's rattling around, only you would be able to find where it's from lmao. Just gotta start ripping stuff out. I had a bolt loose in my trunk in my old car it was impossible to get out :( so annoying lol

Got my car back from the shop today but noticed a sound that didnt exist before :O I didn't have enough time on my hands tonite so i couldn't investigate it thoroughly.
I'm assuming its the spare tire nut :S....anyone know how the proper "steps" on fixing it?

1 - find nut
2 - tighten

You honestly cannot be serious can you?

You want us to tell you over the internet, how to find, diagnose, and fix what appears to be a lose bolt somewhere?

Reminds me of when we were kids at the local Sat arvo movies (when the theatres had wooden floors) and we'd sit up the back and roll Jaffas down the floor.

@trism
Well...getting the car back after 3 traumatizing months due to a repairs and if you notice a sound that wasnt there before...it drives you nuts. well, sure did for me.
All i could do was "assume" last night, i just wanted to see if anyone could give any heads up.
But before coming to work this morning, i have managed to tighten the nut HOPING it was the source where the sound was coming from. no problems so far *fingers crossed

but thanks for your input, so much for a community forum....sigh

I can see where you're coming from. no doubt about that.
excuse my stupidity, the question itself was based on my lack of knowlegde of the car (only had it for 3 weeks).
But that sort of response wasnt necessary imo. mehhh

it was rear shock nut, dropped one couldnt get to it, did something else and forgot about that nut.
got back to it and found its missing nut, so i grabbed a nut from my nut box.

Its the end of a pop rivet in the framework of your roof (the metal bars that go across if framework was too complicated), open the ends (should be a plastic cap) and it should fall out of one side or the other..

No. I wanted to use a product as a template. And then manufacture. For me. Which is legal.
