Hey guys,

Im very much considering by a 05 EURO,
here is the link, im going to go see it tomorrow.

Is there any questions i should i ask upon buying an accord euro which is going to hit 100,000 soon?

Heres a link of the EURO im looking at

AUDIO QUESTION
how do you guys usually run the power cable from the battery if you would like to run an amp for subs and speakers?
Does the factory HU have any pre outs? or are there already factory amps?

Ive tried doing a search but cant find anything, any links forwarded on this post or any comments and suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks
Simon

Hey dude, there 2 options you have to run a sub and amp from the stock unit..

Option 1: Get a module which attatches to your stock unit that converts it so it can have RCA outputs (I have one I can sell you)
Option 2: Buy an "audio converter" from strathfield to tap into the rear speakers and from that converter box it has RCA outputs to go to the amp. Then run battery, remote and ground as per usual!

Professional way is to buy the module which you can connect to the back of your stock head unit though, as it also comes with sub control and an AUX in! The sound quality on it is more superior then Option 2 as well!

As for running the cables from battery, there is an entry point through the fire wall on the passenger side and you run it down to the back under the plastics/carpet.

That price is a bit steep for an 05 with that many K's on it I think.

You could get a nice 06' update cheaper or one with NAV for that price.. shop around.

I had a new headunit installed where the center pocket is under the factory headunit. That way you can have a good unit to hook up you sound system too.

I sold my 04 non lux for 13k with 100,000 on it a year ago. I know mine was non lux but 20k seems a bit high.

Link above is an alternative. Only $2.5k more which I'm sure u could bargain down and it's an 08 lux with 20k less on the clock. I'd do some more research as there definitely more out there,

And as a fellow previous Mitsubishi Verada/Magna owner you'll find the 05 Euro some-what a downgrade on some features, eg trip computer, which isnt on the euro til '06.

Good luck buying a car!

i would fork out the extra 1k or 2 for that white euro lux.... much much better than the pre facelift. and it has NAV!
