yes

http://yes you can as long as your hand is small enough to reach oil pan bolt.com

well actually, no

cos you cant fit through a drain pan to catch the oil.
but if you just let it drip all away on your driveway then yes you can.

^^^ Agreed,

You will need super small and ultra triple jointed arms to get it all in and out...

You gotta jack it up to undo the bolt and remove the oil filter. You can lower it while its draining to get most of the oil in the sump then jack it up and drain the rest out.

Car ramps? Bitch please... Reverse the rear wheels of the car off a really tall kerb and walla! Front of car is instantly raised at least 10cms

Drive car onto a dirt road/ground.

Dig a massive hole undearneath the car

And presto, room to drain oil.

But on serious note you should jack it up to drain oil with jack stands or on to ramps.

Also ensure you have a new washer for the oil drain plug and new filter with the oil change

Also before you put the oil filter on to fill it up with some oil and put some of the oil on the filter seal

It is a good plan to lift it up, so you can fit under the car, fit the pan under and such.
I would change my oil and such myself, but I don't have a trolley jack or jack stands on me :3

But yeah, replace oil and oil filter at the same time, else you'll have dirty oil in your system. :D (or it's what I was told)

DIY fo dat win yo

but seriously

1)buy a trolley jack from Supercheap. The higher it goes up, the better. get 4 jack stands while u are at it. If it's specials time, then all u need in 100 bucks.

2) jack it up (front first) and get it up on the stands. F then R.

3) a couple of spanners, and bob's ur uncle.

The amount of money you will save on futire services is priceless

I'm curious, what else would you need to do?
I mean, normally they check plugs, filters, brake wear and such... so I suppose just change pads and stuff if they need changin, and grab some new filters every now and again for a good clean air flow? :D

trism

new oil and oil filter every 10k kms
new air filter every 20k
if youre only running regular copper plugs, do these every 20k
new fuel filter every 30k
pads, however ever often you need to. depends on the driving, normally get 70k if its just regular driving. They have low level indicators, so they squeel when theyre low

coolant normally every 100k

Seriously?

Its right there in the name bro.

Fuel filter. Filters the fuel.

Oil filter. Filters the oil.

Most people here will recommend genuine honda stuff. But any aftermarket filter is fine.

say wallah, bro.

fuel filter you can find in your tank.
oil filter you can find on your engine.

Drifter995

you can find your fuel filter in your engine bay... it depends on the car... I still have no idea where mine is though >.>

2 fuel filter isnt it?
one right before the fuel pump in the fuel tank and one before the fuel rail in the engine bay.

trism

sometimes the filter will be in the engine bay. sometimes its an intank.

In the case of the CL9, its intank.
