Ek Dome light new bulb

I'm planning on replacing my interior dome light on my 97 ek gli and have no Idea which bulb type to get.(tried google and ozhonda search andsome thread i was reading said it was a DE3022, but that cant be right)

Im planning on getting a smd led from ebay.
Also can anyone tell me how to remove the bulb >.<
(didnt have this much trouble replacing my headlight bulb)

Get one of these 30 smd panels with the t10 adapter, they are extremely bright

Yeh the link i provided will fit in your ek, i currently run one, this is the only pic i could find sorry but shows you how big it is in relation to the housing.

Fyi you can also fit one in the boot light if you cut out the internals a bit.

Ebay ones often arnt as bright and burn out easier in my experience, do it once do it right IMO.

Its $16, if you cant afford $16 then go ahead and get the cheap one lol, i know id rather get quality over quantity but each to their own i guess. The ones you have linked are only rated at 12v when your car is running it will up the voltage to 13.8 to 14.4 ish depending on alternator condition, this is one of the reasons they burn out quicker, cheap parts made cheaply, noQC, the panels i have linked are rated up to 30v IIRC.

The 48 one you have linked will not fit in the boot light as its far too big and you may have trouble fitting it in the dome.

I found the eBay ones always die quick and when you get it some LED's may not work, I once ordered to roll of SMD LED's for my cluster and half came not working. Best to pay the extra like TbM said

I ended up going with eBay 24SMD board but the 5050 type SMD will get back to ya on how they perform when they get here...
