Hello all.
A lot of people are going to laugh at this one, but please excuse me for being a learner at this.
I would like to know if there is a SIMPLE way of increasing horsepower (kW) on my Integra, without spending a fortune.
Is there anyone out there who can recommend someone to go to, or recommend mods that can be achieved easily?
The only mods to the car so far, are an XForce muffler and 16" Pilot Racing wheels mated with Bridgestone GIII Potenza tyres.
Many thanks to anyone who is willing to help.
Maybe I can return the favour one day.
Many thanks.

Most people will start modding with the I/H/E setup,
basically cold air induction/headers/exhaust...these three modifications are relatively cheap compared to other engine-related mods. So if u wanted to start modding, start here.
be slow for a while and save up for a Turbo Kit... B18B is good candidate for Boost.. and you will not get any other decent gains without doing VTEC head swap.. or do BOTH.

hey mate,
Im in exactly ur position with my 96 GSI and the only SIMPLE option available to start, like Daplaya said is to go for a filter/CAI/extractors and exhaust. This is your best bang for bucks mod and will give you some noticeable power gains. If this doesnt quench your power thirst, some cams and an air fuel computer will give you some more gains ontop and keep it all n/a.
As far as turbocharging goes, I wouldn't classify that as a SIMPLE option and your looking at $5-$7k plus for a proper job with all the relevant costs inc. But if your budget is no barrier, this is a good option as long as you dont spare any costs and do it properly. I mean I would love to turbo my B18 but not all of us have that sort of dough laying around. Just remember if u do want to turbo you will also need bigger brakes, tougher internals and transmissions etc and also higher insurance costs if u want to stay legal. Turbo's = many hidden costs.
It really depends on your objectives and what your budget is, but my overall tip is sit down and really decide what sort of gains you want, cos if u want to keep it simple, your probably only going to gain 10 to 20% max with the suggested n/a mods. And dont get me wrong cos that would be a nice quick teg and its the route im taking with mine. But in the end man, its up to you. Good Luck and let us know how u go,
Flavzz
