Hi,
I'm just wondering if anyone knows whether a 19x8 +35 offset wheel will stick out on the front of an accord euro 06 model?

Thanks.

If it doesn't stick out its going to be a very very tight fit... though +30 and +35 is a big difference yeah?
Also depends what tyres you getting I guess but you will need camber if it sticks out a tiny bit...

I'm stuck with this as well. Here's my guess though, can someone correct me. 6.5" +55, 7"" +47, 7.5"+42, 8" +35?

Ask yourself, is 5MM alot of difference?

To OP, i highly doubt that they will stick out x8 +35 isnt so agressive

This is x 9.5 + i think low 20s

They'd probably sit flush against your guards mate, if not probably just a little in. I'm running 19x9.5 +25 and they stick out about 20mm if viewed from top.

Either way it's good fitment for that flush look. What specs are your rears?

Thanks for everyone's reply. The specs for rear & front are 19x8.0 +35. However i may be able to get my hands on the same type of wheel with +45 offset. I'm pretty sure +45 would be the better fitment :)

Would 18x8.5" +45 work on a CL9?. Still not sure about how offsets work, the higher the number the further out it is? Will it rub or stick out?

Yeah, I don't really intend to lower for 3 reasons. 1. I'm concerned about ride, going to lower profile tyres from 16s will already make them firmer, don't need to make it worse. 2. Camber is already killing my tyres, even though I'm rotating, inner wear means even though I got about 30% left everywhere else, the inside is bald. 3. Moniez. Already splashing 2k+ on rims, for a student, that's a lot.

you fool. He isn't talking about ride height he is talking about offset.

Yeah it would work. You will probably need to roll the guards, depending on how low you are.

OK, so let me confirm this, my car will not be lowered. So I don't have to worry about rolling the guards or the rims sticking out thus becoming unroad worthy, or the RIMS (8.5 with a +45 offset) rubbing against my suspension?

i test fitted 18x9 +33 rims and they stick out a little bit at the front.

Rims + stock height = 4x4 status D:

Edit: 8.5 +45 would be fine. I think it'll sit flush with your fender, won't stick out and even if it does, only by a few mm but doubt it.

You're getting 19" wheels without lowering?! I don't know if you're gonna like the result, it will be 4x4 style big time. It is up to you at the end of course I am just giving you an advise, consider lowering even by just a tiny bit (1"), it would make a lot of difference.

Now regarding the offset, i have 8" wide with +40 and they don't stick out, they close to flush but not quite so I think 8" with +35 would stick out 5mm more than mine which should make them flush and would be a nice look (but only if lowered :p)

I think 8.5" with +45 would be exactly the same as 8" with +35 (half an inch more width would cancel out the 10mm more offset) but some can challenge me on that if they think otherwise.

8.5" +45 and 8" +35. The 8" +35 will have the outside edge of the wheel stick out more by 4mm, but 16mm more inner clearance due to the rim width being smaller. So not so much the same.

This whole sticking in or out thing also depends on the tire size you run, stretched or meaty chunky stuff.

If youre not lowering the car at all then ...... yeah.... itll fit.....just be prepared to have an odd looking car. hahahaha

So 8.5" +45 and 8" +35 are practically the same in terms of sticking outness?

Sorry just re-read your post again, I think i get it, confusing stuff and I am a computer programmer, lol

i mentioned that there was a 4mm difference.
if it was like 8.5" +45 and 8" +40, then thered be a 1mm difference in terms of the outside edge of the wheel sticking out. So that would be more 'exact' for the sticking out business.
