My rear trailing arm/ torsion beam is bent, apparently.

i had a honda service maybe,at most, 1000kms ago and they didnt say anything about the rear allignment being out.

wasnt till i had tyres fitted today that the bridgestone guy said the back was toed in by a fair bit, but being a solid piece theres no adjustment. and thats all he said. i just presumed its normal, i then got home and was abt to give the wheels a clean and noticed my RL wheel seems to have more toe 'in' then my RR wheel.

went to autobahn literally 2 mins away and they said it seems like the RR wheel has been knocked and bent the beam which is why the RR whel has less toe in.
the price to fix was $1850, all up.
just before this he made a point of me spending a lot on my car, so i dunno that seemed fishy/funny.

what u guys think?
i have another mate with a jazz and he has identical damage.

is it maybe just like that?
and if not is it worth repairing it?

is the beam removable, like a subframe?

if so, try find an undamaged one at a wrecker, and get it pulled out.

yeh its removable.

but is it normal?

the guy at autobahn said he would have to order a new whole rear trailing arm. its just a torsion beam.

ill ask my wrecker mate to see if he can get one.
