View Full Version : Anyone know this S2000 owner? He stole my bumper/tow hook cap

Hi All,
Just a little pissed off! My S2K's rear bumper cap was stolen last night from Chatswood westfield carpark. Whilst it's not a big deal... something off my car was stolen!
I know the car that would have taken it, as I was parked in chatswood last night, two cars away from a Silver S2K. I know it's a small community - and I know someone on here will know the guy.
Car has Black tempe spec wheels with chrome lip, and red interior - with the gay red dash and all. (Red dash is pretty rare - so it will be easy to find him).
If anyone knows this guy, get him to return my rear bumper cap - or if I find the guy or the car, he'll be crying more than me over losing my bumper cap.
PM me if you know this chump, and better yet where he lives!

What colour was the S2K?
It says silver, so I'm guessing just the normal SSM

Just wondering, what you mean by bumper cap? Is that the little CF piece that sits on the bumper to cover one of the exhaust holes for people running single exhaust? Or was it the whole bumper, because you said tow hook cover too?
I think he's talking about the tow point cover

Hey guys, my Silver S2K was stolen a few months back, and since the OP drives an S2K I'm lead to believe that he's the one who stole it!

Maybe he was only trying to steal your car by towing it, but forgot to put your tow hook cover back.. So just chill, was prob an accident.

I was parked there for 30 mins. There were 5 cars in the car park on that level. I was parked right near an S2000 in the same colour - and he was missing the tow hook cover. Go figure...

Sorry mate it's still an assumption , with no evidence. There is equal chance you are wrong or right...for the part and it's worth I wouldn't want to go rocking up at this persons place firing up at them....what are you going to bash him ? Take him to court ?!

How do you know another passer by didn't walk past the 2 silver s2000 and think hey there's something wrong with this picture that's right this guy has a cap blocking the "air intake" on his front bumper... #Goes and rips off your tow point cap#
There all fixed!! Then thinks to himself gee I'm glad I did that guy a favour!
I wouldn't mind. I'd just buy a new one but smaller version off ebay lol.

Guy has a right to be pissed, just the key message is make sure it's not misdirected. As much as the situation points to it being him - you wouldn't want to be wrong...

Ok all jokes aside, I think we'd all be pissed if someone stole our shit! But without proof, pointing the finger will do your no good...
We need the next level of theft detection, 24/7 in car camera, and then if you find the thief again beat him down till his mum begs you to stop!

You have no right to ask for any kind of contact details, as you have no proof that anybody has stolen it. If you see the car again, and it now magically has a cap on it, it's up to you if you want to steal it from him, isn't it. That's about the only recourse you have.
