Hey, wondering what's some good break disks for the CU2, was looking at DBA T2 street ones, anyone had experience with these? Was looking at the T3 4000series as well but I think they are more beneficial for track right?

Also need some recommendations for some break pads, mainly for street driving, don't mind a bit of a performance factor.

Thanks

OEM. the best trade off between dustyness, noise and performance

Maybe try EBC greenstuff pads which i've been reading so much about..?

the OEM rotors should be fine unless you want the fancy looks

OEM rotors and pads are rip off if you get from dealer.

DBA is fine, they are well made rotors and should out perform you OEM

If you want no dust go for a ceramic pad from USA, like hawk or something, it should last you a LOOoNG time.

I'm interested in getting different rotors/brake pads in the future too. Since I've got aftermarket wheels, my rear brake discs look puny! Do you guys reckon it's worth it getting DBA slotted rotors? I know nothing about brakes :S

Thank you.

I doubt any hondas have bigger rotors for you to retrofit, so you'd need a big brake kit for that. Replacing rotors with slotted ones will still look small.

Oh really?.. Damn, BBK are like 1.7k for the CU2 if I remember correctly. Don't really plan to spend that much on brakes lol. So pretty much, if I change the rotors, they'll be the same size but just slotted?

Hmmm, well that sucks. Foreversmallrearbrakes.

I might just upgrade to slotted for the fronts if I think it's worth it when I need to change them.

Thank you.

That and a new set of pads (heard good things on Remos, Hawk brands) is all you need unless you go on track.

Are you suggesting getting slotted rotors (DBA for example) combined with Remos and Hawk branded brake pads Fredoops? Because I'm a bit lost. I know nothing about those brands hahah.

Slotted or not, doesnt really matter, slotted does have more bite tho lol

Remos is new brand and it seems to have generated decent reviews

Hawk is popular among US Acura owners, seems to have good reviews too.

Slotted isnt necessarilly gonna give u better stopping power, its more that you can use them more harshly withough having to worry about the consequences off overheating the disc. or getting "blue discs".

but dont go for a drill and slotted disc as its not practical unless your on the track all the time, its too hard to keep the heat up on them for them to work effectively.

If you haven't seen it already. Not the best, but good enough for daily use.

does anyone know the CU2 pad shape code for the fronts? and rears?

OEM front pads cost around $200...

thinking of trying Hawk Ceramic.
