You might aswell change the cam and crank seals while the belt is off, you dont want them starting to leak before your next timing belt replacement is due. It doesnt take long aswell and they are cheap. Get the whole timing belt kit with the seals and tensioners.

With the timing belt kit I got it had timing belt, cam seals, crank seals, tensioner and water pump. My cars got 185k on the motor so it needed all to be replaced..

They were in quite bad condition

personally, I would take it apart and inspect everything and replace what needs replacing.

in your case, just buy a kit like the others have said.

It shouldnt cost you too much, if you still have the D16 in there its fairly simple.

Was $185 for the kit, but its the labour that makes it quite expensive

a kit for a D16 is about $100 (Dayco).
