Fans wont work, Revs start at 1.5 then continuously drop to 800 then go back up

Just installed new(second hand) Radiator and condenser,
from what i can tell i have plugged all hoses and plugged the fans back in
but fans dont seem to be kicking in , there seems to be some smoke coming from somewhere and also when i start the car its sitting on 1.5k revs then after a few seconds it drops to around 800 then back up to 1.5 continuously,

any suggestions on whats happening ?

Could be air in your system meaning temp sesder not in contacy with coolant/thermostat, did you bleed it properly..

Probably not, anyone know if an integra has a bleed valve on it or do i have to do it the old fashion way?
on the gauge it doesnt seem to be over heating but im sure the fans should be kicking in as the coolant is at boiling point, any idea why they arnt,
is it because theres still air in there or do i have to keep the car running for longer ?

ok literally jsut got back from downstairs. was siting in car for a while while it was on .. was playing around with the aircon, heat, and fan strength

fans didnt kick in when air con was turned on, not sure if that because it hasnt been gasses yet as its second hand and i just put it in aswell,
when the fan is on full strangth and hot temp the car does the alternating revs from 1500 to 800 over n over ,
when the car is on no fan but on heat it sits on 1500
forgot to test when on cold but i think it just sits on 1500 still.

fans finally kicked in afte rlike 15 min of car being on, so i guess there working
just need to figure out the high revs and fluctuating revs, but i guess they both would be caused by air in the radiator still?

also when i turn the steering wheel my revs drop and it makes a somewhat of a weird noise.. any idea what that is.. low powersteering fluid or ?
ive noticed fo the past 2/3 weeks of it sitting in my car port it has racked up a bit of liquid under it.. not sure if its oil or power steering fluid

So check your PS fluid level.

And bleed the air, or just drive it and top it up later when it's out.

the PS level when car is cold is on "Lower" basicall yon the line for it, should it be higher or ?

and ive tried to bleed the radiator as much as i can, i need a spill free funnel to do it propperly,
always wish i had a bleed valve, damn teggy doesnt have one

could my condenser not being gassed at all play into any effect at all ?

If its not gassed the AC won't turn on. And the condensor fan won't turn on.

the radiator fan now works, but i guess that just the radiator fan?

all i need to know now is why its idling at 1500 rpm,
then when i tap the accelerator it drops to roughly
800-1000rpm then goes back to 1500 straight away
and stays there

it also when having the in car fan on it fluctuates revs from 1500-800
recurring but when the fan power is on nothing it just stays idling at 1500

ive tried to top up the radiator every night and morning but only get to put like 30 ml in it every time,
im hoping thats air seeping out letting it go down a bit,

other things ive read up is i have to screw down this thing in my high idle valve, but im not sure if i should
and also where that even is

I'd unplug all connections and hit them with some contact cleaner.

Try giving your IACV a clean.

Definitely do this before you start messing with the idle screw. The screw takes a bit of fine tuning to get right, and if your revs are hunting downwards with the fan on you don't want he revs too low to begin with.

ok ok , another thing that confuses me so much, when the car is idling on 1500rpm after beeing warmed up,

when i turn my headlights on it starts to fluctuate ????? -.^

any idea?

Can't remember the name of that thing that adjusts your revs when the engine is draining power.

Somebody will come along who knows though lol

The idle up controller only works off the air con and power steering iirc.

ive still had no luck with it
car idles fine but revs slowly get higher as the car warms up
then when it gets to normal warmed up temp, it starts to do
the whole fluctuating rev when in car fan is off, and still fluctuates
when i turn the lights on

apparently the light one is because of a cable not being grounded but ive put all cables back
to where they are meant to go.

really dont wanna have to to take it to a mechanic (N)
