I'd go 16" charcoal, saw a white Type R with 16" charcoal and it looked pretty mean.

I've got 16" white myself, but then, i've got a blue car, loving the P1s, they're a classic wheel!

If you're planing to lower the car by heapps then go for the 17's my mate did that on his Bomex kited DC2 and it looked hot! 16's would just look too small and not only that the car would be too low, thats if you're dumping it! I had the same problem so I bought a set of 18's that are now for Sale!

IMO 17s are the go...u cant go from 18s, to 16s...its too much of a drop.
17s will giv u a mad look to the car and also giv u good performance cause of their weight...
u get the best of both worlds with 17s

Dan Rucci? is that guy by any chance the owner of a wide body Red Corolla? I have seen his car in a few mags and my cuz Is building something along those lines, without the wide body but still retaining the Supercharged engine!

BTW: sorry for going a bit off topic! lolz :o

If your wheels that you have at the moment don't rub? then go for the same offset as those, you can find that out at the back of the wheel.

hmmm well they do and the width will be different though from 7.5 to 7.0
kinda wanted to stop the rub on the inner guard

One thing I have learnt is that I used to have 215/35 Falkens on the front and they never Rub when on full lock, Last weekedn I got ma self a new pair of tyre on the front coz the Falkens where almost like semi slicks! LOL but now with the new tyre (Nankang) they rub and they are also 215/35's It dont make sence????? all I'm saying is have a good look at the Tyres, coz like in my case the Nankangs are a bit too squared compared to the Falkens I had before! maybe thats why they Rub??? they seem to be much quieter than the Falkens.

Yeah there not that bad like only rub when its full lock and on the inside its not a big issue

thing that annoys me is holes in the road and the rough ride i wanna get past that
but if i go the 17" route i dont think thats gonna change :(

It's still gonna be a rough ride on 17's...

I'd go 16's if you're main goal is improved ride quality.

Im considering doing the same myself at the moment (17 down to a 16)

One inch ain't gonna make much difference! you would notice it more if you where to go from lets say a set of 18's down to a set of 15's then you would notice! I know so coz I have done it to mine and you can feel the difference, I just don't ride on my old set of 15's coz my car would be lower than it is, at the moment it is still too low! by 10mm though.......
