Is anyone experiencing around 6.0 litres per 100 km fuel consumption in the Civic especially FD1s?
I ran my car for 246 km (almost entirely higway 100 and 110 k/hour apart for about 16 - 20 km city).

Honda Civic R18 Motor has done about 8600 kms. Transmission is automatic.
Only mods have been K&N panel Filter (about a year old).
Enkei RPF1 16" and RE002 tyres.
No other mods.

Burning BP 98ron
Using Honda FEO oil 5w-30.

Fuel Consumed = 15.2 Litres
Distance Travelled = 246.2 Kilometers

Converted To Imperial Measurements :

`3.3 Gallons imp
`153 Miles stat

The conversion yielded 6.01/100 km or 47 gal / mile.
I checked this and think the calc is right.
Anyone else getting about this ? I wasn't expecting this and I'm sure the result is accurate.

I have the same car and tx (without mods) and this is similar consumption to mine, I've used this calculator http://motormouth.com.au/myvehicle/consumptioncalculator.aspx

for me that's fine, you're doing 16km = 1 liter and thats efficient.

How bout 740km and it then took 44litres til fill !, thats 5.9L/100km.

My worst was at Wakefield, Drained the tank in 65lap, 2.2km x 65 = 143kms or 31L/100km !!!

R18 engine gets amazing fuel economy with high way driving, yes it's possible - and its consistent as you describe your driving is almost high way - i think its possible to reach 750-800km in one tank (taking risk of running out of petrol of course)

because of how the i-vtec works - I have personally modded a indicator light when the vtec engages. - It is almost never on during city drivings.

And thus fuel economy craps out in cities - easily can reach 9-10L/100km in city driving
