or would it just be easier to get a 2 point one from j's racing?

i have yet to see a 3 point strut brace for EP3.

with a Gruppe M, a few strut brace don't fit (eg. Cuscos). J's Racing should fit.

however i am not sure whether if the front strut brace on the EP3 have any effect....

oh thanks

but i think ill just stick with the j's racing... i just want to buy something for my car, so ill go with front one first lol

unless someone tells me there is a 3 point on for the ep3's with no hassle with the gruppe m

No point getting Js, useless bar.

Anything held by a single bolt that still is pivotable under load is a waste of $$$

Spend your money elsewhere if you want handling gains. You'll feel little to no gains from adding a front strut brace. Go buy coilovers or high performance tyres instead.

What I'm saying is Js racing and any other bars that are not solid or held by at least 2 bolts on each side is useless.

It will still pivot under load

I'm telling you to get a solid bar that is either welded or one piece for proper affect, 3 point would be even better but I am not sure if there is one for the EP3 due to its limited engine bay space.

I'm not promoting Ultra racing in any way, only using hte pics between solid bar and a pivotable single bolt one for reference

Now think about it, as if a single bolt on each side will prevent movement or even stiffer the chasis whatsoever

IF you have one of those bars around, go and tighten those bolts as hard as you can then try to move the brackets up and down, I garuntee it will pivot.

Now tell me how is that even going to stiffen a car chasis when you can even move it with your hands/arms?

get swap bars (or rear 1 at least) for similar money and you will feel the difference straight away.

I think Phillip meant sway bars. Most prominent brand in Australia is Whiteline. Very easy to source and relatively cheap too.

Wow, so the J's is pretty flimsy then? Dissapointments...
Edit: But isnt it designed to flex for a reason?

What reason would that be ?

Sure I'll buy a Strut bar to stifften the chasis but it can flex under load... *face palm*

If its JDM it will be well designed, constructed and purposeful

i'd go with no strut bar, correct me if im wrong. ep3's chassis is good more than enough on the track. it adds more weight and it'll give u understeer if you just chuck on the front strut bar and do nothing about the rear.

dont think theres a 3 point strut for our car man. ive been searching.... even if we could find something... it prob wont clear the gruppe m. the 2 point struts that i have found... well they're all the same as the J's. 1 point bolt connections. maybe buy a J's. attach it. then weld it solid ;P hahaha

there is a factory brace behind the firewall. and another between chassis rail at the back of engine/gearbox. no need for extra brace on top of the strut other than for bling!!
