Hi Everyone!

Not sure if theres a thread like this already however i just thought for those who want to improve around the track like I do, it'll probably good if we can share our videos to compare each others lines, car specs, suggestions and comments are welcome! =))

I'll start with my one.

My 3rd time to run Wakefield, stock B16a jdm spec EG, tanabe gf coilovers, RSB, X Bar - B Pillar, aftermarket headers and bpipe with spoon n1 axle back, Toyo R1R 205/50/15, QMF HPX Brakepads front and rear. Spoon P30 ECU + VAFC2 Toda Aus .tuned.

Car's a 2l B18C with MFactory Transmission in an EG VTI. Build and Tuned by Adrian from Toda.
That was about 3 years back, and the car's no longer in existance. :-( I do miss it.

yea..still in the process of studying the car's limitations I guess and turn 3 is also a tricky one, the dip before the turn makes it complicated!!

Eastern Creek is currently undergoing some renovations, so the org ended up using, what they call is the new "EC North Circuit", heaps shorter than the full track and pretty fun like Wakefield.

A bit embarrassing really. Missed apexes, no rev matching and very dodgy handling!

Very hot day and only had the chance to run a warm up lap and a fast lap before cooling car down. Old/Ugly Falkens on the rear and adrenalins on the front. Stock EG5 susp, stock DC2 brakes and full interior.

Have since put in coilovers and changed sways. Have some used semis, too that would make a diff. Would love to run again one day and shoot for 1:10flat!

Would cut first corner more, run wider through exit next left hander and cut next right a little more- having watched a few vids form WP since! And would race in cooler weather!

that wasn't too bad for a first timer imo.. its really impossible to hit the car's limit on your 1st trackday. i've been into several and still nowhere near my car's limits.

susp work and semis shud shave a second at least! and practice will shave off the rest! you'll hit 1:10 in no time

So managed to drop my PB in wakey from 1:17.1 to 1:13.7 at Honda Nats. Upgrades are F/R camber kits, front swaybar,brakepads and front subframe tweaks all done by my boy James of Ison Industries. Been using the same tyres from my very 1st trackday. Hoping to drop a bit more when I get some proper semi's and chassis work with the same stock engine :)

I was at the races at Wakefield Park today supporting my mate who races in the IPRA Over 2 litres but the IPRA Under 2 litres got my attention. There was an EG Civic( Number 30 ) and an EK Civic ( Number 4 ) racing today. I had a yarn with the guy in Number 30 but I couldnt find the driver of car 4. I was told car 4 was running a K20. He won both of his races today. There was a good battle between Car 4 and a green silvia in the last race but of course the civic triumphed over the Sil.

Thanks bro. Currently planning to sign up for the 1st of dec circuit club trackday. Will try to come with proper semi's and hoping to beat the PB or even more break into 12's. *fingers crossed*

Patchwick, I think the first race was 12 laps and the second race was 16 laps.

After seeing the race on Sunday I went and bought myself an EG Civic SI Hatchback today. It needs a bit of work but I will get there with it.

I have been reading about Honda Challenge Australia, I like the sound of that concept and it will make it easier for the average joe blow to be able to participate.

I was thinking about getting in to the IPRA Under 2 Litre series but since then I have been reading up on the Honda Challenge so that would be a good starting point.

I just bought another EG Civic Hatchback from ebay for $611 so I will take the motor from the SI and put it in the latest hatch I bought.

I have spoken to mate of mine in the US who helped build my EG Turbo Hatch when I lived there. He will send me stuff over if i need it.

The software is Danas patchwick, this was ~3years ago,so don't know whats out there today.

It just plots the limited GPS data I pulled from my old Nokia n95 using racechrono software and external GPS.
I notice racechrono is still around for android,must be a mad bit of kit these days,been meaning to get it and check it out whats it's capable of now.
Was ridiculously accurate too for what it was(although the GPS I was using did have a fairly decent refresh rate on it)was something like and average of one hundredth. per lap off the official timing. Don't quote me on those figures but you get the picture.
Racechrono had the option to output files suitable for Danas.

If only it could plot the track outline somehow...
You could prob achieve that in some fashion these days.

yeah most was played in car, haha some pumped me up, sometimes i couldnt hear it over the tec so i turned it up, hopefully next time will net me a better time with rear swaybar and better shifting and harder driving

How high do you rev your B16 before shifting up?

I find the K24 vid shows a lot more skills and intensity than the S2K!
