Hi guys,

I have a 1996 Integra Vti-r with the standard B18c2 engine.

I accidentally shorted my car, I was tightening the alternator belt and there was a little rubber cap in the way, so I removed the battery and place my socket and adjusted the bolt to tightened the belt.

After I tighten the belt I forgot that I left my socket in there and it was touching the cable that was under the rubber cap and connected to the battery.

I removed the battery again and then the socket and reconnected everything, however when I put the key in and turn it, I have no accessories, no lights, no nothing, absolute dead.

Is there a main fuse that I can replace or am I looking at replacing the entire ECU and electronic system?

Here is a picture of where it shorted

Simply check all of your fuses, under the bonnet and under the dash.

So I may not need to replace the starter motor or alternator?

Correct. That's what the fuses are for.

yes check your fuse box it should be one of the larger fuses, the 100 amp most likely.
