Found this on heeltoe's facebook page
God Bless Marcus.

Nice. But it looks like the lid from the Icebox with carbon fibre. How much is it?

Group buys are not allowed on Ozhonda.

also guys those carbon boxes vibrate once you step on gas pedal , because they are thin and flex under suction of air.

the look great tho and by look of things perform great but that noise turned me off from buying one for my cu2

Damn, thanks for the heads up. Would have thought that they would have been stronger being CF and all.

It's a flat panel, a few mm thick at best. Not very strong..

Our aluminium intake flexed at small section thickness. Fatigue will kill these things.

But.. I didn't expect a commercial item to flex like that, I would of honestly thought it was a carbon layer for "looks"

Bless Marcus and CT engineering!!!

can't wait for it to be released. I've been holding out on buying the Plastic one in the hope that they would make a carbon one and viola here we are!! yay

.... Pretty sure this is a layer of CF on top of resin..

It's heeltoe's prototype, as to how flexible it is depends on how many layers they stack up or what backing material they used.

Can't wait for release then. If they can make it solid enough, I'll be one of the first on the list.

He will make it solid enough easily.

How do you guys find these C/T boxes anyway?

I've read many varying results. Alone, they don't seem to do much though, especially since most of their gain comes from removing the resonators. They seem to make better use of the K&N drop in filter though. Either way, grabbing a CAI is a cheaper and better option.

I'm really only looking at grabbing the cover for the look factor. Hopefully I don't need to change the base either.

It's the bigger and smooth airbox, together with a velocity stack and UNIfilter.

All dyno's suggest they match each other, if anything the icebox makes more power than injen (with the foam filter, it'll probably make more with the K&N), especially from 4750rpm to redline.

That lid looks the part. I would definitely be keen to grab one. With my drop in K&N filter and resonator removed this would complete the job nicely, now what to do to get the effect that velocity stack offered with the CT Icebox .....
