My friend is selling his BMW 3 series which is running 20" BBS LM wheels.
I could get a killer deal for them as he is selling the Bimmer with the stock wheels.

I can get the holes mount inserts and get them re-drill to 114.3PCD.

They are 20 x 8.5 " all round with a +38mm offset.

Just wondering if the BBS LM will fit a CU2, most likely need lowering thou, else it will look like a 4WD.

I've never seen a CU2 with BBS LM, as BBS wheels are mostly on BMW and Mercs.

with a step lip, it will look smaller. :)

but if you are going with a full face wheels, i'd not do 20" haha

I've seen 20" on a CL9, def not too big for a CU2. I would lower it about 10mm. Not sure about some of the guys here, but I'ld still prefer some clearance between the tyre and the guards.

I've got on my CL9 20x8.5 at the front with 225/30 tyres and 20x9.5 at rear with 235/30 tyres stretched. Staggered VIP wheels.
Rear guards rolled and 3mm spacer fitted to rear to clear coilovers. No camber kit used, front guards not rolled & front no spacers used. 1 finger gap at rear, and a finger and a half at front. Standard negative camber at rear (about 2-4%). 0% camber at front. Here are some pics below.

How did he put roof racks on without the side cliPs

I was wondering the same... Could it possibly because Thule/Yakima has different clamp system?

Don't think so. Our car has no roof lining/rails. Hence no mounting point. The only way he did it was to drill into the roof :)

yup....unless the US market has a seperate body shell, if you look on our car, there are no stock mounting on the roof rails.

I saw a mazda 6 with OEM roof rack this arvo without clamps. IIRC Mazda 6 has no roof mounting points as well....

i checked mazda website out of curiosity.... they do have mounting points in the roof rail/gutter.
Similar to subarus where under the rail plastics, there are points where the roof rack can be mounted on.

Why don't Honda do the same thing..?? I'm on the market for a bike rack and I don't like having a tow ball but I want a cleaner look...
