to a spare power source in the fuse box.

get the source input from interior light/door open warning light.

ahh ok, so just check the empty fuse box slots? and test see which ones come on with the dome light, or when the doors are open etc?

if it's just LED's you could piggyback it off the existing wiring, but I wouldn't, depends how anal you are.

this is the correct way to do it.

- disregard the switch and indicator light. wire from fuse box goes directly to 85 on your relay.
- pin 30 on the relay can go to the battery via a fuse as indicated or to a spare power outlet on the fuse box.
- the driving lights are your footwell lights.

so.

2 wires coming from the fusebox. one is the source wire, to tell when to turn on the lights.
the other is the power that your footwell lights will draw power from.

or

1 wire from fusebox as a source and one from the battery via a fuse for power.
this is the correct way of doing it.
