hi guys i have 2005 honda euro my question is when the car is in parking position i try to rev the rpm wont go over 4500 as if the rpm cutting off but when i drive its normal
any explanation for this

its built into the ECU as a safety feature so you cant sit there with your foot on the pedal and bounce it off the rev limiter, and damage the engine.
90% of late model cars have this.

it will explode if it goes to 4600 rpm at a stand still
