Looking at carb'ing either a b20 or b18 (non-vtec) to drop into either my carby eg or an ef.
Anyone have any info on how this could be achieved?
Tried googling, but to be honest, too much 'jargon' speak and I'm getting lost :o
Any and all info would be much appreciated!

is possible buy modifying a manifold to suit a carby
and modifying a dizzy b series with d series internals for vacuum advance
research is needed for airflow-cfm and fuel flow-jet size of the carby igntion timming and advance
combustion chamber desighn port desighn plus more to make it produce good power

Are you wanting to try this as an experiment? Or because you have a Carby car?
The amount of effort to pull it off would be more than what's required to convert a Carby eg/ed to efi....

Yep, waaaay too much effort.
Youre thinking that'd it'd be easier than doing an efi conversion, but it really wouldn't.
It'd be the same or more effort and mucking around required.

This thought wasn't just about the fact I have a carb'd eg, also like to be a little different, and for the sounds that carg's have. But I think I might save this idea for another day, if its going to be similar or slightly harder then an efi conversion. As the egg is my only transport atm, I do need it to be reliable haha. And it seems like I'm going to have to play around with this idea more :)
Thanks for the advice.
