Hi, first post.

Thinking about looking for an ITR track car.
Are jdm front panels & headlights hard to get & expensive?
If so, think it'd be wise to look at adm only, in case of dreaded damage?

Cheers

Tbh if I was tracking a JDM front i'd rather swap it to a dc4 facelift to protect the JDMness lol

Hey bro, if you are planning to buy a dc2r for track (and minimal street) use, I'd recommend getting an audm version or if you can find it, a Jdm dc2r with the Jdm front from factory. Reason being the process of installing a jdmfront on a "bugeye" Integra involves cutting off and welding on a part of your front radiator support; which could ultimately end up with your chassis being slightly bent at the front- which isn't a very good thing for the track haha.

As for your question however, Jdm front conversions aren't common in the marketplace, but once you find one it'd be around $1500 to $2500 (very rough figures). Don't pay anything over that though, unless it is some crazy one off factory original release which is brand new never touched a car or some bullshit lol

Should be about 1.5k to get all the parts then about $800 to $1k for painting and fitting. Might as well use that money for performance mods if your gonna track it imo

No, not contemplating a front conversion, just wondering about availability & cost of parts in case of damage.
If can't get panels for jdm dc2r then better to look at non conversion adm cars only.

For my education, are aus dc2r front guards & bonnet the same as on vti-r & gsi ?

Cheers & thanks

i think theyre the same as facelifted dc2vtir, bar the type r front lip. Pre facelift vtir looks different altogether. Not too sure about gsi though :/

Been searching & am confused.
Other threads say that facelift & pre-facelift guards & bonnet are the same (only nose & headlights change)
If so, wouldn't that mean that all Aus dc2 & dc4 integras (93 to 01) have same fenders & bonnet ?

Cheers

yes the Aus dc2 & dc4 integras (93 to 01) have same fenders & bonnet

the dc2r uses the facelift 98+ front bar/headlight/indicator used on 98-01 vtir and gsi's (basically the same as dc2r minus the front lip )
