Howdy

I just changed my cabin air filter in my Accord Euro. Having only travelled around 1000km, i was quite surprised to see the amount of 'grey' already present.

The standard filter is a basic unit, being able to only filter pollen. I ordered two Fram air filters for the TSX from amazon. Works great! It has both activated charcoal and baking soda in the filter to minimise odours and gases.

I believe the filter is the same for both CU2 and CL9's. The price is cheaper than the stock/standard air filter.

cheers

Thanks for the heads up mate!
I have also used the Fram Cabin Filters in a previous Toyota.

The OEM Honda filter is pretty cheap and nasty, I much prefer the cabin filters with Active Carbon (Charcoal Filter).

Is this the same as a pollen filter? And is it in the same place in a CL9? I checked up the TSX filters and it doesn't seem like there are any clips on my glovebox. Is it the same place?

Just checking, where do you guys find the part numbers from? My googlefu and even Fram's website doesn't really have the model list.

Lolz, was looking for the list because I went and checked my dad's corolla to find the filter tray empty, lolz, ****en Toyota, them cheap bastards. Was thinking of getting him one. One interesting thing is that his airflow goes upwards vs the Euro's downwards.

Hmmm, I'm getting an error message when I try to purchase this filter.

We're sorry. This item can't be shipped to your selected destination. You may either change the shipping address or delete the item from your order.
Anyone know the reason for this? Maybe I've added the wrong one to my cart.

I just tried it again off amazon and it still quotes approx 45 bucks to oz.

Here is the exact link to the seller: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0010E00T6/ref=ox_sc_act_title_1?ie=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER

Lolz, still doesn't work. Might have to look at ebay then... only problem I have against them is that the shipping is easily twice the price of the filter itself.

Nothing to say but lol if that is the case. Happy to order it and ship it to you if you'd like :P. Not sure how much postage from Syd to Mel would be though.

Alright, I've figured it out. Just have to change the seller. No idea why, but it works out now. There was a cheaper option too, 13.50 or there abouts.

Yeah you need to purchase from amazon themselves not one of the many other resellers who list on amazon. Still heaps you can grab though. Couldn't believe how cheap the stuff they had was (eg K&N filters, akebono brake pads etc).

lol ended up with a K&N oil filter last order as well myself. Has this awesome feature, a nut built into the casing that you can put a spanner into and use that to turn and screw it in. Makes removing them so much easier!

There's a 1" nut. Pop in your spanner and use that to rotate the filter.
